Welcome
Welcome to my travel blog. Follow me on my adventure to world discovery.
I started Lantern Trails with a one-way train ticket and a notebook that was far too small. Eight years later the notebook habit stuck: I travel slowly, stay longer than planned, and write about the places that reward patience.
Here you will find seaside walks, mountain huts, old-town mornings and practical field notes — every story walked, swum or ridden before it is written.

How I travel
Slowly, lightly, curiously
I plan around seasons, not sights. One base at a time, markets before museums, and always the coastal path over the shuttle bus when there is a choice.
Most Lantern Trails stories come from stays of two weeks or more — long enough to learn the baker's name and find the swimming spot the postcards missed.

Notes, guides & small goods
Alongside the journal I publish slow-travel city guides, sell fine-art prints from the archive, and share the photo presets behind every story's look.
For press trips, writing commissions or wholesale print orders, write any time — I answer every letter myself.
